Sue has been researching the flow concept for over 25 years, and her work has helped to make the flow state both understandable and accessible to all levels of participants. Sue is a registered psychologist and full member of the College of Sport and Exercise Psychology in the Australian Psychological Society (APS). In her research, Sue has tapped into different ways to assess flow, including the development of a suite of self-report instruments that can be used across diverse settings. Sue has written extensively on flow, both in academic and applied articles. With her mentor, and the founder of flow, Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, Sue has written, “Flow in Sports: The Keys to Optimal Experiences and Performances”. In addition to her work in the psychology field, Sue teaches yoga and mindfulness classes. Sue is also the editor of the Australian Yoga Life magazine.
