Yoga and Cancer Training. A yoga therapy approach. 20 hour professional training with renowned yoga therapy expert educators, Sal Flynn, Liz Williams and Dr Natasha Zajc-Dalcourt. Gain confidence, knowledge, and therapeutic skills to work safely and effectively with clients with cancer.

Cancer touches the lives of almost everyone. As a yoga teacher or yoga therapist, it is important to have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to support your students and clients going through cancer.

This 20 hour Yoga and Cancer Training explores how yoga can complement clinical cancer care. Drawing on both yogic wisdom and evidence-based research, you will learn how yoga may be used –

  • to reduce known risk factors
  • during treatment and
  • promote wellness in the recovery phase.

Facilitated by three of Australia’s most experienced yoga therapy educators – Sal Flynn, Liz Williams, and Dr Natasha Zajc-Dalcourt – you’ll gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to work with people navigating cancer using a yoga therapy approach.

Whether you want to work more effectively with existing clients, expand into clinical settings, or deepen your understanding of yoga therapy in the context of cancer care — this training offers a unique opportunity to expand your expertise and connect with a professional community.

Experience an enriching blend of experiential practices, small-group inquiry, clinical knowledge, and guided discussion.
