The following terms and conditions apply to the use of yogatherapyinstitute.com.au and any interaction you have with Yoga Therapy Institute Pty Ltd. The sale of tickets for an Event or Course and attendance at an Event or Course are subject to these Terms and Conditions as well as any specific terms and conditions notified at the time of ticket sale or course registration. By browsing this site or purchasing an item or event from Yoga Therapy Institute Pty Ltd, you acknowledge that you have read our Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound to the conditions listed below. If you do not agree to our Terms & Conditions, you may not use our site or participate in our events.

This website is owned and operated by Yoga Therapy Institute and in these terms and conditions, the terms “we”, “us”, “our” or “YTI” are a reference to Yoga Therapy Institute and its website.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia, and where applicable the state of New South Wales.


Our terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time without notice. We reserve the right to change, modify, add or delete parts of our terms & conditions at any time. Amendments will be effective immediately; and it is your responsibility to review our Terms & Conditions for any changes. Your continued use of the website following any amendment will represent your acceptance to the revised Terms & Conditions.

Yoga Therapy Institute uses the eWAY Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions.

eWAY processes online credit card transactions for thousands of Australian merchants, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet. All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the eWAY gateway are secured payments.

  • Payments are fully automated with an immediate response.
  • Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Yoga Therapy Institute or any outside party.
  • All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate.
  • All transaction data is encrypted for storage within eWAY’s bank-grade data centre, further protecting your credit card data.
  • eWAY is an authorised third party processor for all the major Australian banks.
  • eWAY at no time touches your funds; all monies are directly transferred from your credit card to the merchant account held by Yoga Therapy Institute


Yoga Therapy Institute will not be in breach of these  terms and conditions or any way liable to customers for refunds, if it is prevented from conducting events by reason of act of God, act of public enemy, war, earthquake, riot, flood, explosion, compliance with any law or government restraint order, rule, regulations, strikes, lock outs or any other cause not reasonably within the control of Yoga Therapy Institute.


Physical goods – After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from eWAY containing your order details (if you have provided your email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. Please allow for 24-48 hours for processing of your order. After that, we will attempt to send your goods via Australia Post within 1-3 days; however if goods are unavailable delivery will take a little longer.

Digital Delivery

After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from eWAY containing your order details (if you have provided your email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. We will attempt to send your software/license/access code via email within 24 hours.

Purchases placed with Yoga Therapy Institute or via our website can only be placed by persons with capacity to contract. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 18 years old or older. If you are under 18, you may only use www.enlightenedevents.com.au or purchase items under the supervision or involvement of your parent/s or guardian/s. If you are under 18, you are not able to attend ANY of our events, conferences, workshops or seminars. Please note: If a ticket holder brings a child with them to an event, the child will not be granted admittance.


Except where required by law, we will only provide refunds in our absolute discretion. Yoga Therapy Institute may cancel an event or course for any reason by providing written notice. We will refund any monies paid to us for the cancelled event within seven days of providing the cancellation notice.

Please select your event tickets carefully. We do not provide refunds or exchanges once a booking is complete if you have changed your mind or made the wrong choice. Please note that we are NOT able to transfer your ticket to another person.

Our refund policy is in line with similar organisations that sell tickets, such as, Ticketek, Ticketmaster, cinemas and theatres. We apologise for any inconvenience and hope you understand our situation.

In addition, the following points relate to the Graduate Certificate in Yoga Therapy course.
1.  Deposit 

A deposit of $1000 is payable at the time you submit your application.

2. Cancelling Your Enrolment Within the 5 Day Cooling-Off Period

If you choose to cancel your enrolment for any reason within 5 business day of completing this application form (ie. the “cooling-off period”), we will refund your deposit. Please allow 10 days for your refund to be processed. After the cooling-off period the $1000 GCYT deposit is non-refundable.

3. Course withdrawal

If you withdraw from the course six months or more in advance of the course start dates, all course fees less the $1000 deposit are refundable.

If you withdraw from the course between three and six months of the course start date, 50% of course fees will be refunded less the non-refundable deposit.

As it can be difficult to fill places in the course at short notice, if you withdraw less than three months before the commencement of the course, all course fees are non-refundable.

If you withdraw during the course, we are unable to fill your place, and regret that we are unable to refund your course fees. 

4. Course Cost

The full cost of the course is $7500. Please refer to the section on Costs to see what discounts are available for early bookings. If you require a payment plan please see below.

5. Payment Plans

A payment plan can be arranged in some instances.

If you would like a payment plan and you wish to pay the course fees off over a 12 month period, the full cost of the course is $8080.

If you are booking an event or retreat that takes place outside of your home country, please ensure that you have adequate travel insurance in place before making your booking. Please ensure that we have met minimum numbers before booking any flights.

In addition to the general terms of use, the following also apply to overseas events including retreats and tours.

Retreat payments are non-refundable, except when we notify you that the YTI is cancelling the retreat. if the retreat has been postponed, retreat payments are non-refundable.

Should you wish to arrive at the tour destination before the commencement of the tour, or stay after the end of the tour, any and all additional transfers, accommodation, meals and sightseeing etc will be paid for by you in addition to the regular group tour cost.

If you choose to arrive late for the group tour or depart the tour earlier than the scheduled end date, there will be no refund of tour costs. Any additional private services required will be charged as quoted.

Please note: airport transfers are included when you arrive on the scheduled flight with the group from Singapore (India trip) or Bangkok (Bhutan trip). If you are unable to join that flight, the cost of the a private transfer will be added to your tour cost.

Please note: if you are attending an overseas retreat held in conjunction with our travel partners, you will also be subject to their terms & conditions.

Please note: Your tour may be cancelled or dates changed as a result of government policies and other factors, that are outside our control, including but not limited to covid-19 pandemic related situations. In this case, tour deposits are non-refundable.


We reserve the right to substitute teachers, trainers, presenters, retreat facilitators or conference speakers if they become unavailable due to ill health or other exceptional circumstance.

We reserve the right to convert face to face trainings, events and workshops in to an online format to be delivered via zoom or other online platform in circumstances where the government has advised everyone to stay at home, State or international borders are closed or due to other circumstances outside our control.

We reserve the right to change venues if required.


Recording of any event with an audio or video recorder or any other kind of recording device is strictly prohibited. Thank you for your cooperation.


All course materials, including notes and powerpoints are copyright. Except as permitted by the copyright law applicable to you, you may not reproduce or communicate any of the course content on the Yoga Therapy Institute website or the Yoga Therapy Institute sharefile, including notes and powerpoints, without the permission of the copyright owner.


If you purchase a ticket to a event conducted by Yoga Therapy Institute, your purchase signifies agreement to these terms of use, including the refund policy.

Payment of an invoice issued by Yoga Therapy Institute also signifies your agreements to these terms of use.
